My GCC is about 17 years old he’s a rescue though my understanding is he had a good home before which seems accurate as he is very loving, but he walks to the edge of my shoulder and poops and it sometimes makes the floor without touching me, other times it may graze my hip or back- my other GCC goes wherever

Hello! Thanks for all your content. We just purchased a pair of parrotlets yesterday. Blue Pacific Parrotlets I believe. Beautiful bonded pair that are inseparable. They are about six months old. She is definitely calmer than he. We took them out this am and sat with them in the restroom.. lol. A little concerned because we haven’t seen them eat or drink yet. They seem relaxed in their cage so hopefully soon. Looking forward to your videos and all your beautiful birds. Started eating.. So relieved 😅

Hi there I love you videos they are so helpful. I recently got a 2 year caique and he is a adorable, loves to hang out and play but he is extremely mouthy and constantly nibbling fingers, hands, arms etc and also has random moments where he will just snap and bite hard braking the skin. He seems to have issues with you near his food too even if just given by hand. How would I resolve the constant need to have beak on you and aggression as I’d like to train him but need this behaviour to stop xx Thanks in advance for any suggestions and support

Hi! I love your videos! I want to add a new member to the flock and wonder what's the next size parrot bigger than a caique. Is that a hahns macaw? Maybe Illigers? Do you recommend hahns more than illigers? Many differences? I live with a 2 yo caique that is so sweet, so crazy but absolutely intelligent and affectionate. I would love to get a new member that is just a little bit more big than a caique, never same or smaller ❤ thank you so much!!

Thanks for the video 😀 I need some help. I have a blue and gold she is now 10 years old and i want to buy a male Scarlet or Greenwing to have a company. As a bird is calm, out of the cage almost all the day. Is is safe or better i buy a new pair from the beginning? My plan is to make a big outdoor cage in country house to live the birds as free as possible. But i dont like to separate my blue and gold with the others if have to buy a new pair.

My Amazon's know their names. One is named kiwi. When i say hey kiwi she says huh.

Henry is the bomb! Mine (yellow crown) was the sweetest bird. But, 2? No. You hit it on the head about the noise. Mine were ok with women but nasty toward men. I think people need to understand that parrots are mostly flock birds. Being flock birds they are loud and noisy at dawn and dusk. It’s normal. If you can’t deal with it or you have easily annoyed neighbors don’t get an Amazon. 😊

Even though their colours are quite subtle (compared to some macaws and many Australian parrots) the lacy detail and feather edging around their heads is really very pretty. By the way the blue and violet tones around their caps shimmer, I'd bet folding money they are sexually dimorphic under sunlight to each other the way turquoise-fronted amazons and budgies are under UV light to us. What I'd give to be able to see the world the way birds do, even for a day!

I just lost my Yellow nape. I balled for days. He was the sweetest most gentle bird i had. And he was quiet. My double yellow head and blue front can get loud but it doesn't bother me

I have a golden conure Baby. She is very shy. But have been working on this and slowly it is getting better. There is one problem , I have a Goffin who is very jealous,of her getting any attention, She will become mean and bites. She is a lovely sweet bird when I do not pay attention to my conure. Not sure what to do! They are both babies. Should I find a better home for the Goffin where would be happier then she is with me?

No sarcasm intended - When painting, especially spray painting a project like this and where you may face some wind, etc., it is usually best to wear disposable rubber gloves. Get gloves that fit well to your hands and then simply take them off and throw them away when done. They are inexpensive and they do the job without being cumbersome or getting in the way. Yes, a lot of people can get away with not using gloves and not getting much paint on their hands, but then there''s everyone else. Great job. 👍 🦜

I know this isn’t to do with the video but you are great with information. If I get 4 parrotlets from the same breeder that have been caged together since they were born will they be okay in the same cage together or will I have problems in future. They seem to get on well in the same cage currently. Also This lil Blue baby is gorgeous I never knew about the Blue headed macaw but they are beautiful birds

What a stunning little bird! I had a look online to find out some more info about them (I'm not at all familiar with the species) and there is very little quality material published about them other than the basics. I think they're a really interesting species.
